For this compilation, the band worked the first time with Harry Vanda and George Young together who had recently produced the live album If You Want Blood You've Got It (1978 ) for the band. The album, mostly a compilation of already to published song material was reacted favorably by fans and critics. Music critic Michael Rensen, for example, came to the following conclusion: " Who Made Who finally has real, tightly -eating in the ear canals hits at the start, as had been missing so painful. The brand-new title track to rival playing with the AC / DC evergreens of the seventies and early eighties, and top of it there's still a few immortal classics of the brand Hells Bells and For Those About To Rock ( We Salute You), you would like a second time is on the shelf " Götz Kühnemund later wrote the following in Rock Hard ". As official soundtrack to Steven Kings maximum Overdrive this compilation, with the two ( trivial ) Instrumentals DT appeared and Chase the Ace and the title song ( a hit single ) contains three hitherto unpublished numbers. The classic Hells Bells, For Those About to Rock, Ride On and You Shook Me All Night Long analyze the disk somewhat, but it is still not inevitable. " He forgave eight out of ten.
