Aberrations of a marriage ( original: Why Change Your Wife). 's A silent film from 1920, directed by Cecil B. DeMille, the female lead was Gloria Swanson. The laboratory in Berlin gave the film a true censorship release, but picked this up again.

Action

Robert Gordon, a merchant of upscale home, feels uncomfortable with his wife who is grumpy, no one likes to talk and not like showing in society; Moreover, she dresses tasteless. He then buys her a ball gown and falls in love with the mannequin. His wife is horrified when she sees this dress. Robert Gordon would like to go to the theater with her. When the young woman, however, refuses to wear that too liberal in their eyes, ball gown, the husband takes just decided with the mannequin.

After the theater evening with Gordon goes into her apartment. This is an affair. Gordon's wife finds out and submit the divorce. The unfaithful husband marries then the mannequin. The divorced wife, however, is coming to Geiger. Both couples meet in a public beach and each of the women tried to outdo their rival in terms of swimsuit. Gordon rediscovered feelings for his wife.

Back in the city, the man has a serious accident. His ex-wife cares for him. When his second wife asked that the patient should be returned to their apartment, the situation escalates: The former Mannequin showered the former wife a rogue poison in the face. But the tincture turns out to be harmless. The former couple is together again and the mannequin turns to Geiger.
