Wickrange

Wick rings ( Lux: Wickreng; French: Wickrange ) is a district of the municipality of Luxembourg Reckingen. In the village of 80 inhabitants ( 15 October 2009).

History

Wick rings was as Reckingen owned by the monastery Marienthal. In 1674 Pierre Beving acquired from the high stone bridges jurisdiction over the place. In 1719 he came to the manorial Meysembourg, 1767 in the possession of the nobles of Rumelange.

Ecclesiastical Wick rings belongs to the parish stone bridges.
