Wien Air Alaska

Wien Air Alaska was established from Northern Consolidated Airlines and Wien Alaska Airways. The airline was the first in Alaska and one of the first of the United States.

The airline was founded in 1927 by Noel Wien ( 1899-1977 ) in Nome ( Alaska). Wien Air Alaska served more airports than any other airline, except Aeroflot. Its main hubs were in Anchorage and Seattle.

Trivia

Wien Air Alaska was the second oldest airline in the United States and also the first airline that took a Boeing 737- 200C (C for Convertible) in operation.
