Wieprz at Zwierzyniec

The Wieprz [v ʲ ɛpʃ ] is a right tributary of the Vistula River in east-central Poland.

Geography

The Wieprz with a length of 303 kilometers, the ninth- longest Polish river. Its catchment area that lies entirely in Poland amounts to 10,415 square kilometers. The Wieprz rises near Tomaszów Lubelski in Lublin Province and flows into the Vistula Dęblin. It is connected to the Wieprz - Krzna channel between Krasnystaw and Międzyrzec Podlaski with the Krzna.

The main tributaries of the Wieprz are the Bystrzyca and Tyśmienica.
