Wieste

The Wieste is a right tributary of the Wümme in Lower Saxony, Germany. The river rises at Bockel in the district of Rotenburg ( Wumme), flows through the upper reaches of a forested, partly natural state area, in the lower reaches an embossed grassland valley and empties into Otter mountain in the Wümme. Of the original five mills on the Wieste the water mill Stuckenborstel is still preserved.

The Wieste is a popular fishing and, in sections of the lower reaches, a canoe station.
