Wik Jongsma

Wiggert Marten ( Wik ) Jongsma ( born April 4, 1943 in Amsterdam, † November 7, 2008 in The Hague) was a Dutch actor. A wide audience he was tijden through the role of Meneer Harmsen in the soap opera Goede, slechte tijden known that he played between 1991 and 2006.

Career

Jongsma studied from 1967 at the theater school in Arnhem. Between 1967 and 1989 he was a member of the ensemble of theater te Arnhem during several seasons. Besides working at the RO Theater, the Nieuw Rotterdam Toneel, on Publiekstheater and had her own stage company theater theme. In The Hague, he was under the direction of Arda Brokmann as Gayev in Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard to see. On Literair theater Branoul he played under Gees Linnenbank in Liefde 's Schijnbewegingen by Remco Campert. For the Foundation De Valse mirror, he directed Harold Pinter A slight pain.

In 2006 he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. On 7 November 2008, he died at the age of 65 years, the effects of his disease.
