The Wilderness National Park was declared a National Park in South Africa. It extended from the mouth of the Touw River in Wilderness beyond the Swartvlei area outside, where he went into the Goukamma Nature Reserve. Thus he protected five lakes and the so-called Serpentine, a sinuous watercourse, Iceland Lake to the Touw River ( at the height of the ebb -and- flow Rest Camp ) together.

Along the Garden Route stretches against a backdrop of lush forests and lofty mountains a coastal landscape with lakes, rivers, estuaries and beaches. In this scene of the Wilderness National Park nature trails pass through dense forests and along tranquil rivers.

On March 6, 2009, he went on in the Garden Route National Park.
