Wilfried Lorenz

Wilfried Lorenz ( born January 18, 1932 in Rostock ) is a former German sailors.

Lorenz went for the SC Empor Rostock at the start. Together with Peter Ahrendt and Ulrich Lorenz Mense won at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 in the class of boat kite the silver medal. Yet his team was 28 points behind the Olympic champions from Denmark. For winning the silver medal he was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze.
