Wilhelm Beyer

Wilhelm Beyer ( born March 22, 1885 in Hohenmolsen, † April 11, 1945 in Schermcke ) was a German politician and functionary of the Nazi Party.

Life

Beyer grew up in Hohenmolsen on and went to elementary school, after which he worked in various industries working as an apprentice. In 1902, he joined in Naumburg in the 7th Thuringian Infantry Regiment No. 96. As a military contender he went to the Royal Police in Kiel. In 1919 he became assistant post in the postal service. First, he was mail clerk and promoted to management of stored test for Oberpostdirektion secretary. On October 1, 1931, he resigned due to illness from the postal service.

The NSDAP entered Beyer in 1925. From 1926 he was Treasurer of the NSDAP district leadership food. As from 1 August 1928, he held the same function in the Gau Essen. On November 29, 1930, he received appointment as a city councilor in Essen.

After the Nazis ' seizure of power, " he received in November 1933 in the constituency 23 ( Dusseldorf West) a seat in the Reichstag, where he served until 1945. In the SA Beyer was promoted on January 30, 1937 Standartenführer and on 9 November 1942 to the top leaders in the SA Group Niederrhein. Most recently he was Gauhauptamtsleiter and main area of the NSDAP. Beyer died on a business trip to Hamburg in combat in the final stages of World War II.
