Wilhelm Carstens

Wilhelm Carstens (* January 29, 1869, † unknown ) was a German rower, who in 1900 took third place with the four with coxswain at the Olympic Games.

At the Olympic Games 1900 Olympic competitions were held in rowing on the Seine in Paris for the first time. The Hamburg Rowing Club Favorite Hammonia sent a foursome with the rowers Wilhelm Carstens, Julius grains, Adolf Möller and Hugo elm. In his advance on August 25, the four labeled with the helmsman Max Ammer man in third place behind the other four hamburger from Hamburg and Germania Rowing Club and the boat from Roubaix. According to the tender, the three lead winners and the fastest Second, it would have been the boat from Roubaix, reach the final.
