Wilhelm Denifl
Wilhelm " Willi" Denifl ( born November 10, 1980 in Rum ) is an Austrian Nordic combined.
Career
The sport soldier Denifl from SV Innsbruck- Bergisel operates since 1989 skiing. His international debut made his international debut for the 1998/99 season in the B Nordic Combined World Cup. After gaining initial success in the first two years, he was on 16 January 2000, a sprint in his World Cup debut Breitenwang, but missed as the 39th the points. In the Summer Grand Prix 2007 Denifl celebrated in Oberhof with a third place his first A-class podium. After another top results he finished at the end of the fifth overall. Also in the 2007/ 08 season started Denifl promising ninth in Kuusamo. After he scored two top-10 results in Trondheim imagined you Denifl back in the world rankings. With the team he reached in Schonach in third again on the podium. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec could Denifl than 30 in singles and fifth with the team no top rankings.
Even in the World Cup it was for Denifl in the sequence again turbulent. So he missed again several times the points in the World Cup and was ultimately no spot at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. Only as a substitute, he traveled to Canada. In the following 2010/11 season he missed with the team in Seefeld in Tirol only just the first team success and was runner-up.
