Wilhelm Friedrich, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein

Friedrich, Duke of Schleswig -Holstein -Sonderburg- Glücksburg ( born August 23, 1891 Good Green Wood in Thumby, † February 10, 1965 in Coburg ) was a leader of the Schleswig-Holstein line of the house of Oldenburg.

Life

As the son of General à la suite Duke Friedrich Ferdinand and his wife Karoline Mathilde née Princess of Schleswig -Holstein was Wilhelm Friedrich the Imperial Navy, where he was captain-lieutenant. He was lord on Good Louisenlund and Good Green Wood in Schwansen. Since 15 February 1915, he was married to Marie Melita born Princess of Hohenlohe- Langenburg.

From 1934 to 1965 he was head of the House of Schleswig -Holstein.

Since 3 December 1920, he was Conkneipant the Corps Holsatia Kiel. On 24 May 1922 he was philistriert as Corp. loop carrier.

Progeny

Friedrich and Marie Melita had four children:
