Wilhelm Sturm

Wilhelm " Willi" storm, ( born February 8, 1940 in Bochum; † 5 November 1996) was a German football player.

Storm came in 1961 by Wattenscheider District Club Union Günnigfeld to Borussia Dortmund. He played there until 1971 and was awarded the 1963 German champions Borussia Dortmund and 1965 DFB Cup winner. In 1966 he was part of the Borussia - Eleven, the first time took out a European Cup for German football team in the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow. He finished his career with Borussia.

Storm was a variable player who could play almost every position in midfield. Overall, he came up with 53 inserts (9 goals ) in the Oberliga West and 186 inserts ( 12 goals) in the Bundesliga for Borussia. Willi storm also played once for the national team, namely in 1964 against Finland.
