Will Brandenburg

Will Brandenburg ( born January 1, 1987 in Walla Walla, Washington) is an American alpine skier. He reached in the 2009/10 season second overall in Nor- Am Cup and finished tenth in the super-combined at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Biography

Brandenburg denied in December 2002, his first FIS races and in February 2004 was followed by the first missions in the Nor- Am Cup. From the season 2005/ 06 he started regularly in the North American racing series and achieved this winter his first top-10 results. The first victory was on 2 February 2007 in the giant slalom at Sunday River. While this was in season 2006/ 07 his only podium finish, but he still went five times in the top ten and eventually reached fourth place in the giant slalom standings and tenth place in the overall standings. In the years 2006 and 2007 he took part in the Junior World Championships, with his best result was fifth place in the downhill in the Junior World Championships 2007 in Altenmarkt.

16 December 2007 Brandenburg started in the giant slalom in Alta Badia for the first time in the World Cup.
