Will Tremper

Will Tremper ( born September 19, 1928 in Braubach on the Rhine; † 14 December 1998 Munich) was a German journalist, director and screenwriter, who also wrote under the pseudonyms Quentin Philips or Petronius.

Life

The son of the innkeeper Henry Tremper and his wife Emilie, born Alberti, attended by 1943 high school in Upper Lahnstein. In 1944, he was trained to press photographer in Berlin.

After the war he played as a pianist with his own band in English and French officer clubs. Tremper was a reporter for the daily mirror and was serving in the summer of 1947 one more month sentence in Prison Berlin- Plotzensee for providing false information to the CIA.
