Willa (short story)

Willa is the title of a short story by Stephen King from the year 2006. It is included in the anthology, published in November 2008 Just After Sunset ( UMBID / ISBN 978-0-340-97716-3 ).

King leaving the story originally 21 January 2006 at an event in Florida, entitled An Evening with Stephen King. In December 2006, she appeared in the American magazine Playboy.

Several passengers of a derailed train, including David Sanderson, waiting in the frontier and grow Crowheart Springs station to a replacement train. David finds that his fiancée Willa has disappeared at once. He sets out to look for her and finds her in a nearby bar, he can not understand how they can take the risk to miss the Ersatzzug, but Willa knows what is going on: She and her husband, all passengers are died in the train wreck killed, this is their life after death. And she knows even more: The train station at which haunt the endless waiting spirits since at least twenty years, will be demolished - what will become of them?
