Willenscharen

Willenscharen is a municipality in the district of Steinburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.

Geography and transport

Willenscharen located 14 km south-west of Neumünster and 8 km northeast of Kellinghusenstraße on the edge of the nature park Aukrug. The sturgeon flows through the community. A Saxon hillfort castle from the 9th to the 10th century located on the west bank of interference near the road bridge of the L 121

About 5 km north of Willenscharen runs the federal highway 430 from Itzehoe to Neumünster, about 8 km south State Road 206 from Itzehoe to Bad Bramstedt. East of Willenscharen the railway line runs from Elmshorn to Neumünster.
