History

In 1837 trains of the London and Birmingham Railway drove here on the West Coast Main Line through without stopping. The successor company London and North Western Railway ( LNWR ) opened on 1 September 1866 the existing route the train station. In 1869, the North London Line followed. The LNWR took on June 15, 1912 the electric suburban traffic on the parallel Watford DC Line. Features of the Bakerloo line reached Willesden Junction for the first time on May 10, 1915 almost two years later, this drove on towards Watford.

The remote platforms on the West Coast Main Line was built in 1962 in the electrification of the line to allow a route with a larger radius. However, there is a reactivation of the platforms for discussion in the possibly modifications to the higher level - the North London Line platforms - would be necessary.
