Willi Heidel

William Heidel ( born February 28, 1916 in Sibiu, Romania, † September 20, 2008 in other jurisdictions, Germany ) was a Romanian field handball player.

Heidel began at the age of 13 years, playing handball at a trade school. For most of his career playing at Heidel Sibiu gymnastics club with which he repeatedly won the national championship. For a year he went to Bucharest Turnverein hunting for goals. He also belonged to the squad of the Romanian national team, which finished 1936 ranked fifth in the Olympic Games in Berlin. Bilberry has been used three times and scored one goal.

At the age of 43, he finished his career. 1970 could Heidel leave to Germany, where he worked as a textile salesman until his retirement.
