William Beier
William Beier ( born November 2, 1982 in Manila, Philippines ) is a former German figure skater.
Life
William Beier was born to a Filipino mother and a German father in Manila. The mother left her husband and children. Father Siegfried Beier returned shortly after the wall came down with the children back to Germany. So William Beier came at the age of 8 years to Chemnitz. Just two months after his return to Germany Siegfried Beier died in a car accident. William Beier grew then raised by relatives of the father, who worked in the Chemnitz ice rink
William Beier was ice dancer. He ran with his sister Christina Beier. At the age of 13 years, William Beier went with his sister to Dortmund to train there with Oleg Ryjkin ice dancing, as this was no longer promoted in Chemnitz in 1996. They launched since TSC Eintracht Dortmund for.
In 2004 the couple moved trainers and training facilities and trained now at Martin Skotnicky in Oberstdorf. During the training, they were also supported by Kati Winkler.
In August 2010, the couple ended his career (knee of William)
