William F. Mahoney

William Frank Mahoney ( born February 22, 1856 in Chicago, Illinois, † December 27, 1904 ) was an American politician. Between 1901 and 1904 he represented the state of Illinois in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

William Mahoney attended the common schools and worked since 1876 in the Trade. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Democratic Party launched a political career. Between 1884 and 1887, and again from 1890 to 1896 he sat on the city council in his hometown.

In the congressional elections of 1900, Mahoney was in the fifth electoral district of Illinois in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Edward Thomas Noonan on March 4, 1901. After a re-election in the eighth district of his state he could remain until his death on 27 December 1904 at the Congress.
