William Hanley Trophy

The William Hanley Trophy is awarded by the Ontario Hockey League. It has been awarded since the end of the season 1974/75 yearly to the athletic fairest player in the OHL. The winner will also take part in the elections to CHL Sportsman of the Year since 1990. Until 1969, the sporty fairest player was awarded the Max Kaminsky Trophy. Between 1970 and 1974 there was no award for the fairest player.

The award was named for William Hanley, who spent 25 years as an official of the Ontario Hockey Association.
