William M. Anderson

William M. Anderson ( born March 12, 1948 in Belfast, Northern Ireland ) is a Northern Irish cutter.

Life

After William M. Anderson cut his own responsibility at a young age of 22 films as Cindy and Donna and The Young Graduates for the director and screenwriters Robert Anderson, he is also responsible to the movie section of the works of Bruce Beresford 1978-1985. So he cut in addition to Money Movers and Breaker Morant also King David. During this time, already caught the long-standing collaboration with the Australian director Peter Weir. For this he cut 1981 Gallipoli and could receive nominations for major film awards for the respective Editor of The Truman Show and The Dead Poets Society. For the latter he won the 1998 BAFTA Award nomination for Best Editing.

This nomination he told the Australian editor Lee Smith, who learned his craft under him and already in Hell and The Dead Poets Society assisted in films like A Year in the section and is responsible for the section of Green Card - Sparkle marriage with obstacles and Fearless - Beyond the fear with him informed. Also the cutter arms Minasian learned as an assistant under Anderson in films such as The Generation of 1969, Green Card - sham marriage with obstacles his craft. With him, Anderson joined a long-term cooperation as co- editors, which ranged from 1991 to 1996 and movies like 1492 - Conquest of Paradise, The Golden Boys and Just Cause included.
