William Marshall Inge

William Marshall Inge (* 1802 in Granville County, North Carolina; † in Livingston, Sumter County, Alabama 1846) was an American politician. He was the uncle of Samuel Williams Inge, the U.S. Representative from Alabama.

Career

William Marshall Inge attended schools in North Carolina and then moved to Tennessee, where he continued his education. He studied law and then started upon receipt of his admission to practice law in. Inge was selected as Jacksonian to the 23 U.S. Congress, where he served from March 4, 1833 to March 3, 1835. He then moved in 1836 to Livingston ( Alabama), where he pursued his activities as a lawyer again. He was a member of the House of Representatives from Alabama in 1840, 1844 and 1845.
