William Smith (cyclist)

William R. "Bill" Smith ( * 1893, † October 1958 in Johannesburg) was a South African racing cyclist.

William Smith competed at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp in four disciplines. In tandem race he won with James Walker the silver medal. In the team pursuit, he won the South African team - Smith, Walker, Sammy Goosen, Henry Kaltbrunn - the bronze medal. In the race over 50 kilometers, it was number seven, and in the sprint, he retired in the first round.
