William Stewart (cyclist)

William George Alexander " Jock " Stewart (* December 15 1883 in Dufftown, Scotland, † August 9, 1950 in Bishop's Stortford ) was a Scottish racing cyclist.

Twice, in 1920 and 1924, Jock Stewart took part in the Olympic Games. At the games in Antwerp in 1920, he raced in three disciplines. In the team pursuit, he won together with Cyril Alden, Thomas Johnson and Albert White, the silver medal; in tandem race, he finished with Alden fourth place. At the games in Paris in 1924 Stewart was out with an age of 40 years and 224 days, as the oldest participant.
