Willian Borges da Silva, better known as Willian, ( born August 9, 1988 in Ribeirão Preto ) is a Brazilian footballer who is currently under contract at Chelsea.

Club career

Willian started his professional career in 2006 at the Brazilian club SC Corinthians Paulista in São Paulo, he played in the youth teams until 2005. He quickly became the star of the team and wore the famous number 10, which had previously worn Márcio Amoroso. In August 2007, he was committed for 14 million euros from Shakhtar Donetsk. In his first season he won the Double with this club. National

Willian was part of the Brazilian U-20 national team that won the 2007 U-20 South American Championship and participated in the Junior World Cup in Canada. 2011 Willian was nominated for two friendly matches in his home country for the Brazilian national football team under Mano Menezes.
