Willie Adams

Willie Adams ( born June 22, 1934 in Fort Chimo, Quebec ) is a Canadian politician from the Liberal Party. He was on 5 April 1977 to 22 June 2009 Member of the Canadian Senate.

Adams was born in 1934 in Quebec City Fort Chimo. 1970-1974 the businessman and skilled electrician was a member of the Northwest Territories Council. In 1977 he was nominated by Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau as a senator. There he represented until 1999, the Northwest Territories. After 1999 Adams represented the Nunavut Territory.

Adams is married and the father of 10 children.
