Willie Clancy Summer School

The Willie Clancy Summer School ( Irish Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy ) is a project carried out annually since 1973 meeting in Miltown Malbay, County Clare, which is dedicated to traditional Irish music.

The festival is held in honor of the piper Willie Clancy. It starts on the first Saturday in July and lasts a week. With over a thousand visitors it is the largest such meeting in Ireland. Morning classes are available in Irish music and dance at various locations in and around Miltown Malbay. Afternoons and evenings are held lectures, recitals, Céilithe and exhibitions.
