Willie Green

Willie J. Green ( born July 28, 1981 in Detroit ) is an American professional basketball player who currently (2012 ) stands at the Los Angeles Clippers under contract. He plays the position of shooting guards.

Career

Green visited the Detroit Mercy College and was first in the 2003 NBA Draft in the 2nd round selected as 41 of the Seattle SuperSonics. He then played seven years until 2010 for the Philadelphia 76ers and then go for a year to the New Orleans Hornets. 2011 Green moved to the Atlanta Hawks and was able to move with the Hawks in the Playoffs. In summer 2012, the Hawks extended his contract and subsequently transferred Green to the Los Angeles Clippers.
