Willie Maiden

Willie Maiden ( born March 12, 1928 in Detroit as William Ralph Maiden, † May 29, 1976 ) was an American tenor saxophonist and arranger of modern jazz.

Maiden in 1950 was a professional musician and has played with Perez Prado. In 1952 he started for Maynard Ferguson arrange, was a member of the Big Band and worked with him until the 1960s together. With his orchestra, he accompanied, inter alia, In 1961 the singer Chris Connor. In 1971 he played in the band of Stan Kenton.
