Willie Seaweed

Willie Seaweed (* 1873 in Blunden Harbour, British Columbia, † 1967 ) was an artist, Canadian Aboriginal, First Nations.

Seaweed was a wood carver of the Kwakiutl. From him many objects that were used in the society of his time comes, he carved totem poles, decorated wooden houses, masks and whistles, he also carved small totems that were sold to tourists.
