Willy Brandts Park

The Willy -Brandt- Park ( swedish Willy Brandt Park ) is a park in the Swedish capital Stockholm, reminiscent of Willy Brandt after his flight from Germany via Norway to Sweden in 1940. The park is located in the southern district of Skarpnäck in Hammarbyhöjden district.

In the park there is a sculpture by the German artist Rainer Fetting. It is a smaller copy of the bronze sculpture, which is located in the atrium of the SPD headquarters in Berlin. It is a gift of the Swedish Social Democratic Party and was inaugurated on 11 June 2006 in the presence of the former Swedish Prime Minister Ingvar Carlsson.
