Wilm Dedeke

Wilm Dedeke (* 1460 in Lübeck, † 1528 in Hamburg) was a North German painter of the late Gothic period.

Dedeke introduced in 1499 together with Absolon Stumme the unfinished Luke Altar Guild of St. Luke the Hamburger his deceased fellow painter Hinrik Bornemann for the St. Mary's Cathedral in Hamburg finished and marries his widow. In the year 1506 it is occupied as a master of painters Office in Hamburg.

  • Anne's Shrine from around 1500, also in Luebeck St. Anne's Convent (attributed to the radius)
  • The crucifixion of Christ ( also: The Calvary of Till Nigel ) in 1500, from the St. Catherine Church in Hamburg, now in the Kunsthalle Hamburg
  • Madonna and Child with St. Anne in Lübeck monastery; the corresponding image of the founder of the former founders' diptych is located in the Museum Ludwig Roselius in Bremen
  • Halepagener altar of 1510, it is believed that Dedeke was also the painter of Halepagener altar in Buxtehude
