Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum

The Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum is a museum dedicated to the history of tennis and table tennis. The museum is located in Wimbledon ( London) at the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

The museum was opened on 20 May 1977. Exhibits show the development of tennis and the different variants since 1555th The Kenneth Ritchie Wimbledon Library houses an extensive collection of literature, magazines and videotapes about tennis.

Highlights of the museum include, for example, the "spirit " of John McEnroe, who appears in the locker room, which he has used in his playing days.
