Windows Anytime Upgrade is a business model of Microsoft to distribute Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 over the Internet. The user will receive an identical installation DVD for all editions and install each fitting Edition by entering their license key. Different volumes are only required for 32- bit and 64- bit version.

Microsoft and the users have the advantage of not producing for each edition and have ready any other DVD to have.
