Windows Identity Foundation

Windows Identity Foundation ( WIF) is a Microsoft technology that provides APIs for ASP.NET and WCF developers. This can be used to program applications that are suited for demand -based authentication and Federation.

Windows Identity Foundation was developed under the code name Geneva Framework and is currently in a "Ready to manufacturing" stage. Windows Identity Foundation is supported IIS6/Windows Server 2003 or Vista IIS7/Windows.
