Windows on the World (novel)

Windows on the World is a novel that deals with the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on 11 September 2001.

Frédéric Beigbeder told the events minutely based on the individual fate of a father with his two young sons, who visited the luxury restaurant on the top floor of the WTC. According to this restaurant, the novel is named. The plot is interrupted by bays, where Beigbeder describes his own writing process and the question arises whether to the 11.9. may use as literary material. The author was accused by critics in many cases, he was abusing the terrorist attacks to his own self-promotion.
