Windsor Township is one of 27 townships of Ashtabula County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 1932 inhabitants were registered here.

Geography

Windsor Township is located in the extreme southwest of Ashtabula County in the extreme northeastern Ohio, approximately 40 km to the north from Lake Erie, and borders clockwise to the townships: Hard Grove Township, Rome Township, Orwell Township, Bloomfield Township, Trumbull County, Mesopotamia Township ( Trumbull County), Middlefield Township, Geauga County, Huntsburg Township ( Geauga County) and Montville Township ( Geauga County).

Management

The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk (Secretary), who is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
