Wingfield Bullock

Wingfield Bullock (* in Spotsylvania County, Virginia; † October 13, 1821 in Shelbyville, Kentucky ) was an American politician. In 1821, he represented the state of Kentucky in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Wingfield Bullock's date of birth is unknown. His youth is largely in the dark. He then studied law. It is not known whether he has worked in some form as a lawyer. Bullock was a member of the founded by Thomas Jefferson Democratic- Republican Party. Between 1812 and 1814 he represented the Shelby County in the Senate from Kentucky.

In the congressional elections of 1820 he was in the eighth election district of Kentucky in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Richard Clough Anderson on March 4, 1821. Bullock was able to implement his mandate in Congress just a few months until his death on 13 October 1821. His seat in the U.S. House of Representatives was made after a special election to James D. Breckinridge.
