Wink Martindale

Wink Martindale ( born December 4, 1934 in Jackson, Tennessee), real name Winston Conrad Martindale, is an American television presenter and disc jockey.

Martindale began at the age of 17 years, a career as a disc jockey at various radio stations, first at WPLI and two other radio stations in Jackson, later in Memphis, Tennessee, and Los Angeles.

Parallel Martindale began a career in television. At first he was at WHBQ - TV in Memphis as a moderator of Mars Patrol, a science fiction - oriented children's television program. Martindale was friends with Elvis Presley, after his death in 1977, he hosted a devoted his USA -wide radio broadcast.

On 2 June 2006 Martindale was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
