History

Through a field change agreement, the municipal councils of the municipalities town Kalbe (Milde ) decided ( May 8, 2008 ), Altmersleben ( 14 May 2008 ), Güssefeld ( 6 May 2008 ), Kahrstedt ( 7 May 2008 ), Neuendorf am Damm ( 2 May 2008 ), Wernstedt ( 13 May 2008 ) and Winkelstedt ( 13 May 2008 ) that their communities dissolved and a new town Kalbe (Milde ) were combined. This agreement was approved by the county as a lower municipal supervisory authority and entered into force on 1 January 2009.

After implementation of the association agreement of the previously autonomous municipality Winkelstedt were Winkelstedt, lazy Horst and Wustrewe districts of the new town Kalbe (Milde ). For the community, the village has flowed Constitution according to § § 86 et seq of the Municipal Code of Saxony -Anhalt has been introduced. The recorded Winkelstedt community and future districts Winkelstedt, lazy Horst and Wustrewe been to the village of the new town Kalbe (Milde ). In the charge included community and nunmehrigen village Winkelstedt a Ortschaftsrat was formed with nine members including mayor.
