Winseldorf
Winseldorf is a municipality in the district of Steinburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.
Geography and transport
Winseldorf located south of Hohenlockstedt at the sturgeon on the edge of the nature park Aukrug. The Rantzau flows through the community. Winseldorf is located on the main road 206.
History
The name of the community, this means marshy ground or in the forest.
The village belonged in 1502 partly to the monastery Bordesholm. 1528 was Field Marshal Johann Rantzau the village as a gift from King Friedrich I. Heinrich Rantzau, the son of Johann Rantzau, built in 1570 a paper mill water and laid in 1580 by a fir tree seed to coupling.
