Winterscheid

Winter Scheid is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Prüm.

Geography

Winter Scheid is located southwest of Bleialf and about 50 km north- west of Bitburg, near the Belgian border. The entire district is part of the North Eifel Nature Park. For winter Scheid include the residential places Heltenbachermühle, Himmesberg ( Winterscheider mountain ) and winter Mühle.

History
