The station Winterthur - Wülflingen (452 m above sea level. M. ) is a railway station in the city of Winterthur Wülflingen circle. The station, consisting of station building and goods shed is a typical station from the turn of the century architectural monument of national significance in the canton of Zurich.

History

The railway and the railway station were originally built away from the town and served mainly to freight with the spinning mill. Therefore, a simple wooden building was erected in 1875. This was ready for the opening of the railway line Winterthur - Bülach -Koblenz and had the shape of a freight shed with integrated station office. Due to industrialization and the consequent growing residential population colonization reached the station, and it was a real station building necessary. Therefore, the present station building was built in 1908, which was then about driving legally advertised in Wülflingen with a direct rail link « Wülflingen - Paris ".

The original building, which is located west of the station building from 1908 has been preserved as a goods shed today.
