Wisches

Wisches (German wiping ) is a commune with 2170 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Vosges in the department of Bas- Rhin in the Alsace region. She is five kilometers from Schirmeck and is located in Breuschtal. There also extend the departmental road D392 and D1420 and a railway line of the SNCF. To Wisches include the hamlet Netzbach, Hersbach and la Gosse.

The neighboring communities are Lutzelhouse and Muhlbach- sur- ruptures in the northeast, Russ in the South, Schirmeck in the Southwest, Grand Fontaine in the west and Saint- Quirin in the north.

Partner community

Since 1990 there is a community partnership with Ahnatal in Hesse.
