Wissem Ben Yahia

Wissem Ben Yahia ( born September 9, 1984 in Paris) is a Tunisian football player who plays for Mersin İdman Yurdu.

Career

Club career

Wissem Ben Yahia arrived in the French capital Paris on the world and moved already in childhood to Tunisia. He began in the youth of Club Africain Tunis with the club football. In 2003 he received a professional contract and was henceforth an integral part of his team. Over the years, he has been repeatedly linked with German football clubs as Hertha BSC and Werder Bremen, but a transfer did not materialize.

After the outbreak of the revolution in Tunisia 2010/2011 Wissem Ben Yahia expressed the desire to leave Tunisia. Because of the uncertain situation of the club was also not averse to let him go at lower rates. So Ben Yahia joined the 2011/12 season for Süper Lig club Mersin İdman Yurdu.

National team career

Ben Yahia is since 2005 active for the Tunisian national team and participated with this part in the African Cup of Nations 2012.
