Wissem Hmam (born 21 April 1981 Menzel Temime, Tunisia ) is a Tunisian handball player. He is a huge draft player who plays primarily in the left back.

Career

Wissem began his career as a 10 -year-old in his home village Menzel Temime. In 2001, he joined the Tunisian first division club Espérance Sportive de Tunis. A major awareness gained Wissem Hmam when he with a total of 81 goals scorer at the World Handball Championship in 2005. Subsequently, he was courted by some of Europe 's top clubs. In the summer of 2005 he decided to move to the French club Montpellier HB.

His international debut in the Tunisian national team, he gave in July 1999. Since he played 240 matches in which he threw 757 goals. In summer 2012, he participated in the Olympic Games in London and completed after his international career.
