WISTA

The scientific and economic Adlershof, short WISTA, located in Berlin's Adlershof district in the district of Treptow-Köpenick. Development

From the former site of the television of the GDR, the Academy of Sciences of the GDR and Feliks Dzerzhinsky Guards Regiment was built with next -lying media center with the help of public funding of 200 million euros a science and technology park. The development company Adlershof mbH ( EGA ), founded by the State of Berlin in 1991 was renamed in 1994 WISTA Management GmbH and is responsible for the operation and development of science and technology parks. Since 2001, the Facilities Management is a subsidiary of WISTA Management GmbH provided by the Adlershof Facility Management GmbH ( AFM).

The end of 2007 WISTA was discharged from the development law. Public transportation

On the eastern edge of the WISTA is the S- Bahn stop Adlershof. Here keep the S -Bahn lines S45, S46, S8, S85 and S9.

From the S- Bahn stop the bus tap 162, 163,164, 260 and the N60 night bus to the site.

Since 4 September 2011, lines 60 and 61 tram from the tram stop on the Rudow Chaussee and Max - Born-Straße were extended into the Karl- Ziegler Street, in the WISTA site.

The future Berlin Brandenburg Airport is located about seven kilometers from the scientific and economic location away.

Water transport

The site is bounded by the south Teltow Canal. Nearest port is Rudow -east.

The end of 2009 hosted WISTA 819 companies, research institutions and academic institutions with € 1.789 billion revenue and 13,981 employees.
